Double Vision

What We Are

We are a hot air balloon team who flies recreationally around Hunterdon County, NJ. Our balloon is a 1997 Aerostar S55A which recently came out of storage and is in great shape.

We passed our annual this morning! Hopefully there are many more to come!
The before and after of our basket! The old leather was in rough shape so we got replaced with brand new black leather. Thanks to Best Aviation in Bally, PA!
2024 was a great first year of ownership! Now in 2025, hopefully Mother Nature is nicer to us (we don’t have high hopes for that though). Thanks to everyone involved in the first of many years of balloon ownership
This morning was a very slow, uneventful flight. We did get to test out this new camera and bring the new to me truck on its first of many chases with us this morning!
We had a great morning flight from Whitehouse to Flemington!

Massive thanks to everyone who helped us in any way with Double Vision this summer! We didn’t fly as much as we hoped because of weather but plenty of smiles were made anyway! We will continue flying over the winter, and never hesitate to come
After many days of unflyable weather we were finally able too get Double Vision back up for a nice slow flight!
